Happy Friday. Your weekly Think / Try / Listen.
Most marketing doesn't fail because the strategy was wrong. It fails because nobody left it alone long enough to work. The urge to change your ads, your offer, your messaging every few days feels like progress, but it's usually just noise. Pick a strategy, give it room to breathe, and judge it on real numbers, not a bad Tuesday.
Take your main campaign and commit to not touching it for 30 days. No panic creative swaps, no daily budget fiddling. Write down today's numbers, set a date, and compare then.
On Drop The Mic, I sat down with Dave Kerr for The Elements of a Successful Advertisement. The takeaway: stay consistent with your core message and branding, and stop running ads just to see something go live.
P.S. If we're not already connected on LinkedIn, let's fix that. Come say hi.

I'm Jason Hunt. I've spent over a decade helping business owners cut through the marketing noise and actually connect with their customers. I co-founded Merged Media, host the Drop The Mic podcast (250+ episodes), and wrote the book Drop The Mic Marketing.
